Step # 2

Here is our project Mustang needing a GrillCraft Sport grille for added styling.

Step # 3

Insert the grille into grille opening from the front side and let the grille rest upon the original grille horse coral. Now using a marker scribe a line as shown.

Step # 4

Remove the original upper grille for access we will be reinstalling it later.

Step # 5

Remove the lower grille bolts using a mini socket wrench.

Step # 6

Place the Sport Grille into the grille opening and match it to the markings from Step #3

Step # 7

Using a sharp scribe mark the grille mounting bracket center holes as shown.

Step # 8

Using a 3/16 drill bit drill side mounting tab holes

Step # 9

Using a 3/16 drill bit drill center mounting tab holes

Step # 10

Mount the sport grille with supplied fasteners and clips starting with the center bracket location first.

Step # 11

The center mounting screw should be installed from the bottom side up with the nut clip on top.

Step # 12

Now with the center screw installed mount the side bracket screws. These can be installed with the nut clip on the backside as shown

Step # 13

The stock grille needs to be reinstalled onto the vehicle. The chrome pony coral can be removed in order for it not to show threw the grille the choice is yours this is simply a recommendation.

Step # 14

Using a set of pliers remove the pony emblem retainer clips as shown.

Step # 15

Install the stock grille back into its original location.

Step # 16

It may help to remove the upper plastic cover as shown for easy access to the grille bolts.

Step # 17

Tighten the stock grille lower screws using a small socket wrench.

Step # 18

Install the upper plastic cover and stock grille top clips

Step # 19

Wow what a styling statement shown here with our optional lower three-piece kit. (Lower vent kit fits even with stock fog lamps in place)
