HONDA ACCORD 96-97 - LOWER CUSTOM MESH GRILLE/GRILL INSTALLATION GUIDE

Step # 1

Here is the GrillCraft Lower Mesh Accord Grill Kit for the 1996-1997 Honda Accord Part# Hon-1120 available in silver & black finishes.
Step # 2

Here is our project Honda Accord in need of a mesh grille kit.
Step # 3

Remove the bolts on the bottom side of the front bumper cover.
Step # 4

Note: With the bolts removed you can reach in and tighten the grille fasteners in the later steps.
Step # 5

Measure 1 inch from the vertical plastic supports in the bumper opening (these line up with the pins on the bottom side of the grille)
Step # 6

Mark drilling location using a sharp scribe.
Step # 7

Using a 3/16 drill bit drill holes for the mounting pins.
Step # 8

Place Accord grill into opening and mark mounting bracket center hole from the backside and drill with 3/16 drill bit.
Step # 9

Insert the "U" Nut onto the mounting tab as shown.
Step # 10

Fasten the two Accord grill/grille screws from the underside.
Step # 11

Wow our 1997 Honda Accord Grille Kit looks awsome!
