Step # 1

Here is the 1996-1998 Honda Civic grill/grille kit Part# Hon-1115. Available in silver or black powder coat finish
Step # 2

Here is our project Honda Civic needing a GrillCraft Sport grill/ grille Kit for added styling and major protection for the a/c condenser unit.
Step # 3

Start by removing the upper grille clips as shown.
Step # 4

Next remove the screws located under the right & left splash shield
Step # 5

Next remove the screws located under the front section of the bumper cover.
Step # 6

Now with the help of a friend the bumper cover will slide off the car.
Step # 7

Remove bottom side screws.
Step # 8

Remove original upper grille.
Step # 9

Here is the kit the urethane grille shell must be painted to match your vehicle color.
Step # 10

Install civic grill/grille center section with supplied screws.
Step # 11

Note: This is the mounting base that the screws will go into to secure the grille to the bumper.
Step # 12

Mark mounting base location on bumper and drill 3/8 hole in bumper.
Step # 13

Note: Drilled hole this will give us the needed play to adjust the grille.
Step # 14

Fasten the grille to the bumper.
Step # 15

Now your ride is stylin.
