Lincoln Navigator '03-05 - Stainless Woven Custom Mesh Grille by Grillcraft, Grill - Installation

Here is our 2003-2005 Lincoln Navigator Stainless steel woven mesh grille made from 100% polished 304 stainless steel. Part# Lin-3102-SW

This Lincoln Navigator in need of a GrillCraft SW Series Woven Mesh grille.

Raise the Navigator hood and remove the bolts that secure the grille shell to the hood as shown.

Removing the complete stock grille shell (with the Lincoln Navigator emblem ).

Remove the stud bolts on the back side of the grille shell.

With the back side stud bolts removed now separate the grille center section from the shell as shown.The original center section will no longer be needed.

Remove the Lincoln grille emblem Note: Be extra careful not to break the emblem tabs.

Cut the small tabs on the back side of the grille shell.

Sand the removed tab area smooth.

"DO NOT REMOVE THE MOUNTING AREA"

Place the GrillCraft Woven mesh Grille in from the back side as shown.

Place the stud bolts back on the grille shell as shown.

Install the supplied screw into the existing hole located in the grille emblem area as shown.

On the backside install the supplied lock nut do not tighten until step #17

Drill a 3/16 inch hole for the mounting screws on the backside as shown.

Fasten the grille to the shell with supplied fasteners as shown.

Now fasten the center bolt make sure not to over tighten. Then reinstall the Lincoln center emblem.

Note: Nylon supplied spacers.

Install nylon spacers to the three center stud bolts as shown.

Note: Nylon spacers installed to the three center stud bolts. Now reinstall grille shell to the vehicle.
