2004-2005 Scion Tc

SCION TC 04-05 - LOWER 3PC CUSTOM MESH GRILLE, GRILL INSTALL

Step # 1

Here is the GrillCraft MX Series Lower grille kit for the Scion TC Part# TOY-1873 available in silver and black powder coated finishes.
Step # 2

Our project Scion TC in need of a GrillCraft custom grille.
Step # 3

Open the hood and remove the plastic clip as shown.
Step # 4

Remove the rubber stop as shown.
Step # 5

Remove the plastic clip using a screw driver.
Step # 6

Remove the 10mm bolt in the fender well area.
Step # 7

Peel the front section of the splash shield back as shown.
Step # 8

Remove the screw thats located behind the splash shield.
Step # 9

Remove the bolt located on the under side of the bumper lower corner.
Step # 10

Remove the bolt located on the under side of bumper front section.
Step # 11

Pull bumper cover forward and it will come off the vehicle.
Step # 12

Place the lower grille in from the front side of the opening. Hold firmly in place against stock plastic grille insert and mark mounting tab center holes.
Step # 13

Drill 3/16 holes for the mounting screws.
Step # 14

Remove factory plastic grille insert. This will no longer be needed.
Step # 15

Place lower grille into opening once again.
Step # 16

Attach lower grille with supplied hardware.
Step # 17

Note: "Flat" nut on the backside of the bumper.
Step # 18

Next lets install the OPTIONAL: side vent griles. Remove plastic side vent inserts.
Step # 19

Place vent grille into opening and mark the side pin location.
Step # 20

Drill 3/16 hole for side pin.
Step # 21

Mount side vent in opening and mark mount tab center hole location.
Step # 22

DRILL 3/16 hole for mounting screw.
Step # 23

Place mounting screw into the tab as shown.
Step # 24

Place vent grille in place and fasten.
Step # 25

Fastening side vent grille in place.
Step # 26

Fits like a glove!!!!!!
