SCION XB 2004-2005 - UPPER CUSTOM MESH GRILLE/GRILL INSTALLATION GUIDES/INSTRUCTIONS
PART#TOY 1850
Step # 1

Here is our Scion XB Custom Upper Mesh Grille Kit Part # TOY-1850 available in alloy silver or black powder coat finishes.
Step # 2

Our Project Scion XB in need of a custom grille.
Step # 3

Remove the clips that secure the upper grille.
Step # 4

Removing the stock upper grille.
Step # 5

Here is the air deflector shield (Note:) the cut away section goes towards the bottom.
Step # 6

Place the deflector in place as shown.
Step # 7

Mark the five deflector holes using a sharp scribe.
Step # 8

Drill five 1/8 holes for the deflector mounting screws.
Step # 9

Remove the center latch support bolts 3 bolts total.
Step # 10

Do not remove the latch bolts otherwise you will have to realin the latch.
Step # 11

Removing center support.
Step # 12

Drill a 11/64 hole on the back side of the latch support for the deflector screw.
Step # 13

Option: Paint the center latch support black for a better appearance with new grille.
Step # 14

Reinstall center latch support and deflector shield.
Step # 15

Fasten the five deflector self tapping screws.
Step # 16

Place the new GrillCraft upper grille in place.
Step # 17

Mark the lower bracket center holes as shown.
Step # 18

Drill 11/64 holes for the lower bracket screws and fasten the two screws.
Step # 19

Alin upper grille bracket holes with the stock grille mounting points.
Step # 20

Fasten upper grille brackets with supplied screws and flat nuts as shown.
