Step # 1

Acura Integra Type R Sport grille kit Part# ACU-2211 available in silver, black or white this kit is designed to fit with the factory lower lip spoiler.
Step # 2

Our project Tye R in need of a GrillCraft Sport Grille.
Step # 3

Start by removing the screws along the top of the bumper cover retainer.
Step # 4

Remove bumper cover retainer as shown.
Step # 5

Using a socket wrench remove the bolts on the right & left inner corners.
Step # 6

Remove the the side screws that hold the lower lip spoiler in place.
Step # 7

Remove the bolts on the front under side of the bumper cover.
Step # 8

Remove the signal lamp screw and pop signal lamp out.
Step # 9

In the right & left fender well fin the screws behind the splash panel.
Step # 10

Remove screw behind splash panel.
Step # 11

The bumper cover can now be removed from the vehicle.
Step # 12

Place the GrillCraft grille into the opening from the front side as shown.
Step # 13

While holding grille firmly in place mark the mounting tab center hole location using a sharp scribe.
Step # 14

drill 3/16 hole for the rt/lft mounting screws
Step # 15

Drill center mounting screw hole 1 inch from the verticle center bar as shown.
Step # 16

Note: center hole 1 inch in front of the vertical center support.
Step # 17

From the bottom side of the bumper drill a clearance hole for the screwdriver in order to tighten center screw from the bottom.
Step # 18

Fasten center screw using the clearance hole from the bottom side.
Step # 19

Fasten Right & Left side screws.
Step # 20

What a difference fits like a glove.
