1998- 2002 Chevy S/10 Sport Grille Kit (designed to fit vehicles with original style criss/cross grille shell) Part# CHE-1460
Step # 2

Here is our project Chevy S/10 Truck needing a GrillCraft Sport grille for added styling.
Step # 3

Start by removing the upper portion of the grille shell fasteners by pulling up on the shell top.
Step # 4

Pulling forward on the mid section will unfasten the shell from the vehicle.
Step # 5

Unplug lamp sockets as shown.
Step # 6

Insert the upper grille into the opening from the front side.
Step # 7

Using a sharp scribe mark mounting tab center.
Step # 8

Drill mounting screw holes using a 3/16 drill bit.
Step # 9

Lower grille install on some vehicles may require cutting a small slot below the bow tie emblem. Drilling a few guide holes usually helps before cutting. (Only vehicles with non- removable grille shell center bars require this step)
Step # 10

Cutting clearance window in the shell (This cut will not be visible once the grille is in place)

The cut out clearance window.
Step # 12

Mount the supplied speed fastener onto grille tabs as shown.
Step # 13

Insert the grilles from the front side.
Step # 14

Fasten grille with supplied screws from the backside while press the grille firmly into place at the corners to ensure a proper fit.
Step # 15

Install grille shell.
Step # 16

Wow what a styling statement total installation time approx 30 minutes.
