Has anybody tried the Piaa Deno LED rear fog lamp in this story? ALL LED automotive devices I've seen to date and tried, unrelated - but including 'chrome look bulbs' (P21 bayonets and even a 27watt bayonet) are simply not as bright as standard bulbs they seek to replace.

Many LED's I've seen used in say spoilers have often been 'weaker' when compared to the vehicles standard brake-lights, not a good look, very second hand. Recent UN/ECE Compliant LED brake lights are fine, and are of course bright and equal to the vehicles standard tail lights.

So the question stands, has anybody with previous rear fog light experience tried the Piaa LED rear fog? ARE they brighter than a vehicles brake-lights, the same, or slightly less so?

For the North American market, it is my view these should be adopted as a mandatory feature (SAEJ1319-'F2') for the entire Canadian/US fleet, to not have these as standard equipment as in EU is nothing short of serious negligence.
